The school The House of IRMA offers a pedagogical approach closer to the child and recognizes itself in the general aims, methodological and organizational itinerary proper to the Montessori Method. In a Montessori school different is the way of understanding the child, the school environment, the role of the teacher, and learning. The pivot of the entire Montessori methodology is the child, an active builder of his own knowledge and abilities, a complete, sensitive human being, toward whom the adult must show the utmost respect by avoiding substituting himself for him. Learning is, in fact, the result of inner work, and the environment must be arranged in such a way as to allow the child to "do it himself," to observe, experiment, manipulate, and internalize concepts through the repetition of freely chosen exercises.  

The House of IRMA houses within the same structure a Children's House section and an Elementary School group, divided between first cycle (first and second grade) and second cycle (third, fourth and fifth grade), each of which moves in a space divided into two thematic and work areas, thus giving rise to four heterogeneous subgroups. As of September 2018, a Middle School section is also operational .
