We are now Wabtec, and we are pleased to provide you with passenger information services, drawing on ANNAX’s many years of experience.
ANNAX was founded in 1996 through a management buyout and emerged from a division of BOSCH. Since then, ANNAX has grown through strategic acquisitions and organic growth to become a leading provider in the passenger information systems market.
In 2018, the ANNAX Group was acquired by Wabtec Corporation.
The former ANNAX Group, now Wabtec, consists of three companies with locations in Germany, Switzerland, and China. The number of employees has grown from 10 to over 500. Together, we develop, design, integrate, and manufacture a wide range of products, solutions, and services for global use in the public transportation sector in accordance with EN 50155.
Wabtec’s cybersecurity program, which was certified to IEC 62443-4-1 in early 2024, provides clearly defined benchmarks for the entire development cycle. This standards-based approach enables a uniform cybersecurity foundation for Wabtec products.
At the same time, the ANNAX sites have successfully obtained ISO/IEC 27001 certification for information security management systems.
We support our customers on projects for light rail, subways, electric and diesel multiple units, and high-speed trains. These projects include new construction projects or the retrofitting of older trains with a new passenger information system. ANNAX’s service offering is characterized by technological added value.
