Born in the snowy winter of 1968, mother of two daughters, I enjoy spending my free time in nature, reading or singing, and also enjoy good company over a nice meal or game.
I have been working as an industrial and organizational psychologist, career counselor, and coach for over 20 years. I am a member of the Federation of Swiss Psychologists, the Swiss Society for Career and Personnel Psychology, and the Swiss Society for Coaching Psychology, and I work according to their principles. I review the quality of my work in intervision and supervision sessions and continue to further my education.
My approach is that of a solution- and resource-oriented coach with a wealth of methods and diverse experience. I am influenced, among other things, by the hypnosystemic concepts of Gunther Schmidt and the work of Noni Höfner. Even during my studies, I was particularly interested in "transitions," because transitions always mean a change to something new. Now I am fortunate to be able to work with you on precisely such situations in my current job. It requires careful observation, perhaps also a broadening of one's field of vision or a change of perspective. Here you will find the space to focus, to put yourself and your concerns at the center, and to find solutions.

Together, we will clarify your situation in our coaching room in Bern, define your goals, and gain clarity about your resources and skills. A reflective look at your current situation helps to address problems in a targeted manner and develop concrete solutions. During the coaching, I will support you in developing new perspectives and thereby expanding your scope of action. Burnout risks will be addressed so that we can take timely and preventive action.
Are you about to take on a leadership position and want to prepare carefully for this step? Have you been working as a manager for some time and want to take the time and space to exchange ideas with a competent counterpart?
In a coaching session, we will work together to clarify your leadership behavior in your current position. We will examine your behavior and attitude towards your employees. Any potential conflicts will also be discussed and solutions will be developed.

During career counseling, we will reflect on your current professional situation and position together in our coaching room in Bern, develop goals, and examine their feasibility. We will develop strategies to help you better deal with changes and challenges in your professional environment. I will accompany you through important decisions and help you recognize your potential.
Coaching – Work and learning strategy
Do you keep putting off writing papers or studying? Are you tormented by exam anxiety before or during an exam? Do you need more time than others to master the material? Do you lack a method for solving a task accurately? Have you been diagnosed with ADHD or dyslexia, or do you suspect that you are affected?
Coaching involves reflecting on your situation together and developing strategies to deal with the challenges. We examine blockages and develop strategies to improve structures and reduce fears. In our coaching room in Bern, we take the time to find your individual solution.
Coaching – Conflict resolution
Do you find yourself repeatedly entangled in similar conflicts and lack the ability to recognize or resolve them in a timely manner? Do you feel uncomfortable in a team and fear the escalation of a conflict? Are you unsure whether your approach to resolving conflicts is the right one?
In coaching, we look for the underlying causes of an existing conflict, clarify your role in conflicts, and develop measures to prevent them from spreading or escalating. We clarify your methods of conflict resolution and look for ways to further develop them.
Would you like to reflect on your professional actions? Would you like to clarify your position in a group or team with your colleagues? Would you like to develop personally in your professional environment?
During supervision, we will reflect together on the role and relationship dynamics in your professional environment. We will develop new perspectives and thereby identify new courses of action. We will initiate learning processes that promote the development of your professional identity and strengthen your awareness of your professional role.
Timely planning of succession arrangements is a major challenge for every entrepreneur. It is not uncommon for fears and uncertainties to block the transfer of one's life's work to potential successors. Together, we seek clarification of internal and/or family situations that stand in the way of positive succession arrangements.
It is not always easy for managers to make far-reaching personnel decisions. A request for further training cannot be fulfilled, the filling of a management position does not go as planned, or outplacement is even necessary. I support you in these difficult decision-making processes through coaching.
Many factors determine whether a team can perform its tasks well. Are the tasks within the team clearly defined? Who takes on which role? How is the team organized, and how do cooperation and communication work? These questions may arise during team development.
In coaching, we work together to develop solutions to clarify the strengths and weaknesses of a team, recognize the potential of teamwork, and use resources wisely. We also look at the informal role behavior of team members and clarify tasks and goals.
On request, I offer tailor-made workshops on topics such as communication, employee appraisals as a management tool, conflict management, and dealing with stress. If you are interested, I would also be happy to work with you to develop workshops on other topics.
Together with Karin Gasser, I now also lead horse-assisted seminars on the topics of leadership, team development, and cooperation.
The demands placed on teachers are diverse, and new challenges posed by integrative teaching methods such as team teaching can lead to stress for teachers. In team coaching for some or all of the teaching staff, we reflect on simmering conflicts or develop ways to avoid them.
As a school principal, would you like to support a teacher in expanding or rediscovering their skills? Thanks to my former role as a career counselor, I am familiar with working with schools, the AKVB, and the BSLB. I can support you in implementing projects, concepts, and processes.
