Holiday dreams should come true for everyone—for disadvantaged families with children and for children and young people with disabilities. That's why we exist.

 

Affordable vacations for families on a limited budget

We consider it our social responsibility to offer vacations to those who cannot afford them at normal prices. No one wants to find themselves in precarious circumstances. But illness, misfortune, or the loss of a partner can affect anyone. And cause financial hardship.

 

Holiday assistance for families

Families in precarious circumstances – many of whom live below the poverty line – cannot afford to take their children on vacation. This is where we come in. With a solidarity contribution of 200 francs, families can spend a week in a Reka holiday village, a Reka holiday apartment or a Swiss youth hostel. Everything is organized so that guests of all ages can have fun, enjoy themselves and relax.

 

Help and services for single-parent families

Single mothers or fathers face particular challenges in everyday life. A single person has to take on all the responsibility and care for their children, provide for their own livelihood, and organize their daily life. The Reka Holiday Aid Foundation has developed a specific offer for their needs. The support allows them to enjoy precious time with their family.

 

Financing of holiday camps

Short breaks from everyday life are good for everyone, especially people with disabilities. That's why we support them. Like for many others, holidays are one of the most important times of the year for children and young people with disabilities. They bring variety, new experiences, and stimulation. We cover the remaining costs of holiday camps in Switzerland. So that no one has to stay at home.
