Holiday dreams should come true for everyone. For disadvantaged families with children as well as for children and young people with disabilities. That's why we exist.

 

Affordable vacations for families on a tight budget

We see it as our social responsibility to offer vacations to people who cannot afford them at regular prices. No one wants to find themselves in precarious circumstances. But almost anyone can be affected by illness, misfortune, or the loss of a partner. And this can lead to financial difficulties.

 

Vacation assistance for families

Families in precarious living conditions – many of whom live below the poverty line – cannot afford to go on vacation with their children. This is where we step in. For a solidarity contribution of 200 Swiss francs, families can spend a week in a Reka holiday village, a Reka holiday apartment, or a Swiss youth hostel. Everything is set up there to ensure that guests of all ages feel at home, can let off steam, and relax.

 

Holiday assistance and offers for single-parent families

Single mothers or fathers face particular challenges in everyday life. A single person has to take on all the responsibility and attention for the children, provide for their livelihood, and organize everyday life. The Reka Foundation has developed a vacation assistance offer for them that is specially tailored to their needs. The support creates valuable family time.

 

Residual financing for holiday camps

Short breaks from everyday life are good for everyone – especially people with disabilities. That's why we are committed to helping. As for many others, holidays are one of the highlights of the year for children and young people with disabilities. They bring variety, new impressions, and inspiration. We cover the remaining costs for supervised holiday camps in Switzerland. So that as few people as possible have to stay at home.
