Description
Practice for women's naturopathy - Judith Hartmann
The most beautiful gift I can receive is to be seen, heard, understood and touched. The greatest gift I can give is to be seen, heard, understood and touched.
(Virgina Satir)
The costs are covered to a large extent by many health insurance companies with a supplement for complementary medicine.
About me
After many years working as a qualified nurse and vocational trainer in conventional medicine, I felt the need to approach health from an alternative medical perspective.
In view of the complexity of alternative medicine, I decided to study naturopathy and completed a 4-year training course, which revolutionized my understanding of health and illness and gave my personal life expansion and integrity.
Integrated into the understanding of naturopathy, I use various manual-energetic massage practices. "Healing is allowed to be"!
At the center of the manual-energetic field for me is presence, "the space" in the touch.
Work orientation
In my alternative medical work, I focus my attention on the recovery process in the sense of salutogenesis ("salus" Latin: health and "genesis" Greek: origin)
Health, as you have probably already noticed, is not static, but in constant, dynamic change.
The sociologist Aaron Antonovsky (developer of the concept of salutogenesis) places the focus in his theory - the starting point of which was stress research - not on the elimination of illness, but on the development/promotion/integration of health.
This approach fully corresponds to my understanding of work.
For me, every person is a unity of body, soul and spirit.
I work holistically. We are unique in our being, personality and organ system and feel subjectively individual.
This unity of the individual person results in constant interactions with our social and ecological field in which we live.
I could also say that our lives take place in a field of tension between life design and adaptation.
Is it possible to feel "meaningfulness", "joy", "being healed", "being connected" more constantly? How do you support your self-healing powers? How do you live in self-determination and self-responsibility?
I take a careful, individual anamnesis, which is based on the alternative medical system of traditional European naturopathy (TEN) and is resource-oriented.
I am also supported by the systemic approach of non-violent communication (NVC).
In addition to the scientific approach, which is important to me, I am guided in my work by my intuition and the all-encompassing, light-filled healing energy. I have placed my trust in this healing quality for many years.
I work together with conventional medicine if necessary.

My treatments
Traditional European Naturopathy (TEN)
TEN is a natural, historically evolved, updated healing system that has been around for over 2500 years. A well-known part of its meaning is rooted in ancient Greece: The system of the four elements (earth, fire, water, air) is explained in TEN as a dynamic, processual wholeness (holon) that encompasses man and the environment. Humoral pathology, the four humors, unfolds from the four elements.
A second branch of traditional European naturopathy stems from folk medicine (Paracelsus, Sebastian Kneipp, Hildegard von Bingen, Wilhelm Schüssler and others). The knowledge of the old European alchemists has been revised, sorted, analyzed, updated and structured. The methods are continuously aligned and further developed. The diagnostics consist of:
- Anamnesis
- Pulse diagnostics
- Tongue diagnostics
- Iris diagnostics

- Living as a woman in self-care and self-determination. What specific options do I have in everyday life?
- Woman in transition: time of change (formerly "menopause"), experiencing change, finding your way physically, mentally and spiritually into the new, mature phase of life
- Live/love your own female body in a powerful, sensual, rhythmic and cyclical way. I will support you in this!
- Pain during menstruation, menstruation that is too heavy, no menstruation. It's worth tackling the issue because it makes your life more beautiful.

Nutritional advice and gut health
I incorporate nutrition into the naturopathic consultation concept in line with individual needs. Not only what we eat is important, but also when and how we eat.
Paying attention to eating habits often turns out to be enlightening.
For my part, I explain and supplement connections in relation to your current state of health, constitution, dietary mix and anatomy/physiology.
If it makes sense, we look together for habitual alternatives and possibilities of concrete, manageable implementation in everyday life.
Nutritional adaptation takes time, it is a phase of change that challenges us as a whole. However, there are no limits to your creativity!
We often only discover our wealth of ideas and resources regarding food and drink and their preparation when we decide to make a change. Let us surprise you!
Nutrition and digestion form a single unit. Gut health plays a crucial role in our energy balance. The gut microbiome is made up of billions of microorganisms that influence our digestion, our immune system, our entire internal environment, vitamin and hormone production, etc. There is an interaction between the gut microbiome, the "enteric" intestinal nervous system, the vagus nerve and our brain - our mood.
Shiatsu understands the human being as a unit together with the mental/spiritual aspects and as part of nature. Shiatsu is anchored in Far Eastern philosophy and health teachings. Shiatsu is also increasingly influenced by modern, holistic Western knowledge.
Shiatsu is practiced in light, comfortable clothing on a futon on the floor or on a couch. It is a body-centered, energetic massage that incorporates meridians and acupressure points as well as breathing. In the interplay of gentle and somewhat strong touch in the form of sinking/balancing pressure and stretching, Shiatsu releases superficial and deep tensions. The flow of energy and oxygen exchange is supported and body awareness is refined. This can lead to a feeling of centeredness. In its holistic nature, Shiatsu promotes physical, mental and spiritual balance. Supports the current life process.
Shiatsu promotes joie de vivre, "being with oneself" and general vitality.
Holistic, energetic work, massage practices
I work with various massage techniques: classic massage, energetic massage, Esalen massage, lymphatic drainage, intuitive massage, gentle fascia relaxation. Laying on of hands and awareness of the body's tissue rhythm are also included. The different techniques often flow into each other. After an analysis of the symptoms and depending on the type of connective tissue and mental conditions, the client and I decide on the massage method or alternating methods in consultation.
Massage stimulates blood circulation and has a harmonizing effect on body, mind and spirit. The massage has an integrating effect - balancing the current life process.
With a massage, you give yourself the opportunity to refine your body awareness. Massage invites you to feel at home in your own body.
The quality of touch is transmitted to the brain via the afferent nerve pathways, where it is perceived. This perception has a regulating, relaxing or invigorating effect on the autonomic nervous system and therefore the overall muscle tension.
In our performance-oriented society in particular, muscle tone is often tense.
Mental upheavals also have an effect on muscle tone.
During body-centered work, emotional injuries, unpleasant life circumstances or physical pain can occasionally come to the fore or be felt more strongly through touch. Here it is important to me to work in a verbal-bodily-integrative way, to leave space.
I recommend massage:- To promote self-regulation and self-awareness
- Promotes the cyclical life of women
- For nervousness, stress and exhaustion for harmonization
- Contributes to pain relief in the skeletal muscle area
- For mental pain
- For headaches
- Supports relaxation and sleep
- For painful, blocking scars
- Improves the energy flow around the female cycle
- Supports resilience as well as regeneration and self-regulation
- Promotes the stimulation of the vagus nerve
- A companion method for mental, spiritual and physical "balancing" during conventional carcinoma therapy
- Promotes tissue balance and metabolite removal after chemotherapy or radiotherapy
Depending on the symptoms, or on request, I use aroma massage. If indicated, I also integrate the application of compresses by arrangement
.Perhaps you would like to pass on massage to your children or partner within the family? The best way to do this is if you have experienced massage yourself and felt what touch feels like. Of course, I am also happy to provide instructions.
I am happy to answer your questions.Foot reflexology massage
Foot reflexology massage is based on the idea that the foot is in constant interaction with the whole body. Foot reflexology massage is a targeted, both fine-energetic and slightly stronger pressure on specific areas of the feet. Depending on where the foot is massaged with special grips, this has an effect on different areas and organ systems in the body.
Foot reflexology activates self-healing powers and strengthens the immune system. It has a balancing effect on the autonomic nervous system, relaxes or activates an area of the body or an organ.
It has a relaxing/relieving effect on back pain.
In the case of degenerative joint changes, it can relieve pain by relaxing and activating the excretory organs.
I also recommend foot reflex massage for headaches and to find peace and quiet within yourself.
In addition to relaxation, reflexology is suitable for strengthening intuition and your own creativity, as well as an alternative to full-body massage or Shiatsu and their effects.
For calming down every evening. Helps you relax and fall asleep.
Would you like to help your child relax before going to sleep?
I would like to introduce you, dear parents, to the quality of touch of Shiatsu on your child's body (in the trainer). Together with your child, we will playfully explore body stretches and twists that promote relaxation.
We practise in my practice, on a soft mat on the floor.
You will learn simple, individual Shiatsu applications on your child in a natural, playful presence.
Qigong/Shibashi - "Open your heart to yourself, give yourself space and breathe deeply"
For me, the dimensions of Qigong/Shibashi are a great everyday gift!
Qigong serves as a valuable, personal source of energy for me.
Qigong is energy-building, slow-flowing, stretching body movements that are described in the form of images from nature.
Qigong, for me, is meditation in motion. Letting myself be touched by the movement.
Through mindful, gentle sequences of movement, a balance is achieved between the sympathetic (sympathetic) and parasympathetic (parasympathetic) nervous systems. This results in a relaxed alertness. In this calm, space becomes perceptible, energy circulates freely and can increase.
Qigong has a harmonizing effect on the body, soul and mind and promotes self-awareness- Supports self-regulation and general vitality
- Strengthens the immune system by supporting self-healing powers
- Promotes night-time regeneration, energy balance and promotes sleep
- Trains body awareness, mobility and presence
- Harmonizing and restorative effect for bones, joints, tendons and muscles in their suppleness
- Energy-balancing for the back and head, promotes the natural flow of energy
- Strengthens all organ systems, promotes cellular respiration and blood circulation
- Balancing effect for the hormonal and nervous system
- Promotes physical balance by creating a healthy groundedness as well as a welcome lightness
- Balances and builds up the biofield and the torus field
Qigong is suitable for people of all ages
.I am happy to advise you personally and answer your questions by phone or email.
Violence-free communication (NVC) according to Marshall Rosenberg
For me, speaking is about "showing myself" and "listening". Being in touch with myself and the other person. When people meet physically, "non-verbal" communication, body language, speaks along with verbal contact
.Live the dance of communication! State facts. Formulate feelings and express needs.
Daring to have courageous conversations again and again feels liberating to me.
- Do you long to be genuine in your communication with the other person instead of "just nice"?
- Are you wondering how you can stay true to yourself in conflict situations and maintain honest communication with the other person?
- Would you like to express your needs freely but can't find the courage or the "right tone" to do so?
- Do you know moments when you lose yourself in self-doubt and belittle yourself internally? Do you wish for nothing more in such moments than to get back to believing in yourself again?
When we speak out, we send an audible message to our recipient or receive a message ourselves, which we hear and receive.
Our great needs are to be heard, seen (attention) and touched (understood)
.Belonging, acceptance and dignity are basic human needs. It is therefore understandable that we do everything we can to fulfill these needs for ourselves.
What we sometimes perceive less precisely in everyday life is the way in which we "demand" the satisfaction of these needs.
Counseling
It is important to me to listen carefully to the concerns you come to me with. That's why I often work in an organizing advisory role in which you actively participate because it's all about you.
We are a personal species and need individual and creative approaches to health promotion. I will research this together with you. This can also take the form of practically applied exercises or perceptions.
The following is a theoretical example:
In connection with skeletal muscle tension, sleep disorders, mood swings, stress or digestive problems, there may be a one-sided "strain" on the autonomic nervous system with its sympathetic and parasympathetic parts.
Traumas can also strongly influence and restrict the balance and regulation of the autonomic nervous system.
The involuntary vagus nerve, for example, extends from the brain via the larynx to the stomach and intestines. Simply put, because this nerve is responsible for relaxation and socialization, its activity has a comprehensive impact on our vitality and therefore also on our health.
I am keen to include this connection when appropriate and, if indicated, to work with or refer to specialists.
For more than 15 years I practiced contemplation and ZEN and assisted in meditation retreats. Then it became important for me to design my meditation practice freely. The space of stillness is always included, and meditation helps me to feel connection within myself, self-love, calm, clarity, strength and self-determination again and again.
In addition, meditation promotes self-responsibility and presence for oneself and others. Being naturally integrated into the "Great Whole - Universally Luminous" is more clearly perceptible.
Perceiving from the heart opens me up and gives me the courage to live from the heart.
Meditation accompanies me through the highs and lows of my life/everyday life and has a nourishing, rhythmic and deeply trusting effect.
Of course, meditation is a spiritual practice. The applied spiritual practice always takes place in lived life, in everyday life.
We are spiritual beings from the beginning. Here in this body, on this planet Earth, we are having a human experience.
I look forward to seeing you!
