Classical massage

Massage is certainly one of the oldest remedies, but certainly the most "instinctive". Who doesn't know this from personal experience:

Automatically, you rub the area that has involuntarily come into contact with an unpleasant spot, such as the edge of a desk.

And the simplest form of massage is used:

The targeted pressure on the tissue relieves the pain.

Classical massage affects the arterial system on the one hand and the muscles on the other. It is a very comprehensive form of treatment that uses various techniques to care for the body, prevent illnesses and combat them thanks to circulation-enhancing measures.

 

 

Manual lymphatic drainage

Manual lymphatic drainage is a form of physical therapy with decongestive effects. The areas of application are wide-ranging. It is primarily used as an oedema and decongestion therapy for various areas of the body, such as the trunk and extremities (arms and legs), which can occur after trauma or surgery.

The term drainage means that the therapist "drains" something. In the body, this can only happen naturally - by improving the transportation routes. Lymphatic drainage is a gentle, slightly pressing form of treatment, with partly circular hand movements that stimulate the lymph channels from the head to the periphery.

 

 

Foot reflexology

This form of therapy is one of the re-tuning therapies and uses the regenerative power available in humans

It is used to treat so-called zones, whereby the human body is divided into longitudinal and transverse zones.

It is assumed that certain zones on the foot are assigned to corresponding organs, i.e. nerve points that are connected to distant points in the body.

This form of massage has continued to develop and, thanks to its diverse applications, is beneficial to people.

Connective tissue massage

Connective tissue massage is a form of stimulation therapy. It involves working on the underlying connective tissue by lifting, rubbing and rolling the various layers of the skin. The techniques used - without the use of oils - increase the tone of the internal organs, connective tissue, muscles, nerves and blood vessels.

Background

 The connective tissue massage developed by Elisabeth Dick in 1929 is subject to a strict treatment procedure. After a visual and tactile assessment of the connective tissue zones, the treatment is adapted to the individual needs of the client. The connective tissue massage is based on the so-called "Head's zones". These represent specific areas of skin with clear boundaries that are connected to the internal organs via nerve pathways.

• General relaxation of the tissue, muscles, fascia, tendons and ligaments
• Improvement of arterial and venous circulation
• Support the function of the internal organs
• Help with neurological disorders

Fascia treatment

Fascia (also fascia, borrowed from the Latin fascia for "ligament", "bandage") refers to the soft tissue components of the connective tissue that permeate the entire body as an enveloping and connecting network of tension.

Fasciae were long thought to be a passive packaging material of the body. Researchers were denied a view of the supposedly interesting structures of the body. Various therapists recognized the importance of fascia over 100 years ago.

Fascia surrounds every muscle, every vein, every nerve and every organ in the body...

They cover all muscles, tendons and fibers and separate them down to the last fiber..

Fasciae react sensitively to various stimuli, including stress, overload from too much sport and lack of exercise. Under such conditions, the elastic fascia thickens, sticks together and becomes matted and sends signals to the muscles, causing them to release inflammatory substances.

Fascia therapy uses slow strokes to treat these connective tissue membranes so that they can realign themselves and correct misalignments. Fascia treatments help to release deep-seated tension. The body releases protective postures that were once useful (e.g. protective postures after an accident). Targeted touch allows the tissue to expand.

The kinesiology tape

The kinesiology tape method was developed by Japanese chiropractor Dr. Kenzo Kase back in the 1970s.

 His main aim was to support the body's own healing processes using a special material and the corresponding application technique. Kinesiology tape is modeled on the properties of the skin and therefore transmits positive sensory information to our body. The application techniques were developed following kinesiology tests and were therefore also responsible for the name of the material and the therapy.
