Carouge Museum
Exhibitions, guided tours and events await you at the Musée de Carouge
The Museum is open only during temporary exhibitions, Tuesday to Sunday, 2pm to 6pm.Free admission for all temporary exhibitions.
Since its foundation, the Museum has been housed in a typical town house, with its garden to the rear, built for a watchmaker named Demontanrouge in 1789, when Carouge was part of the States of the Duchy of Savoy (Kingdom of Piedmont-Sardinia). The Museum is mainly dedicated to the conservation of Carouge's heritage and the organization of temporary exhibitions related to local life. Regularly, it participates in various events organized in Carouge (Printemps carougeois, Vogue)
