You'll also discover a fine assortment of hard and soft cheeses from here and abroad, our famous ready-to-use fondue mixes, as well as numerous local products and wines. 

You'll also find beautiful cheese platters for your aperitifs and meals. 

We are happy to make gift baskets, and other gift items are available in our store.

Quality and authenticity

The successful manufacture of Gruyère AOC is the right combination of the ancestral know-how of the Gruyère cheesemakers, and manufacturing procedures according to current techniques. At the Charmey dairy, we work with this in mind, to offer you products of impeccable quality.

We process over two million liters of milk, supplied by producers, from the village annually to make Gruyère and Vacherin fribourgeois AOC and also yogurts, serac and the famous double cream.

We offer guided tours of our cheese dairy, by appointment.
