You will also find a fine selection of hard and soft cheeses from here and elsewhere, our famous ready-to-use fondue mixes, as well as many local products and wines.

You will also find beautiful cheese platters for your aperitifs and meals.

We are happy to put together gift baskets, and other gift items are available in our store.

Quality and authenticity

The success of Gruyère AOC production is the result of a perfect combination of the ancestral know-how of Gruyère cheesemakers and manufacturing processes based on modern techniques. At the Charmey dairy, we work with this in mind to offer you products of impeccable quality.

Every year, we process more than two million liters of milk supplied by local producers to make Gruyère and Vacherin Fribourgeois AOC, as well as yogurt, sérac, and the famous double cream.

 

We offer guided tours of our cheese factory by appointment.
