The Nant Foundation – Eastern Vaud Psychiatric Sector
It carries out a public health mission on behalf of the State of Vaud. Its healthcare services are open to everyone, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors living in the districts of Aigle, Lavaux-Oron, and Riviera-Pays-d'Enhaut. It provides mental healthcare for a population of 200,000.

Its missions include psychiatric emergencies, outpatient, intermediate and inpatient psychiatry, and training for mental health professionals. Its core activity is to treat patients facing psychological problems that disrupt their lives through a personalized therapeutic relationship.
The Fondation de Nant - Its care services are provided by psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, social workers, and specialized educators. They are open to everyone, including children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
The Fondation de Nant employs some 475 people, or 338 FTE (full-time equivalents). The institution is affiliated with
the Fédération des Hôpitaux Vaudois (FHV), the umbrella organization for regional hospitals in Vaud recognized as being of public interest.
The Fondation de Nant is also a member of the Haut-Léman Health Network and the Vaud Association of Private Organizations for People in Need (AVOP).
More than 6,000 patients (2024 figures) are treated there each year, which corresponds to just over 3% of the resident population. Two-thirds of patients are treated in outpatient units, while one-third are hospitalized patients.
At the Espace Santé Rennaz site, the Fondation de Nant offers psychiatric and psychotherapy consultations for children, adolescents, and the elderly, as well as emergency and liaison consultations for patients at the Riviera Chablais Hospital.
