Technical description
Dirty molds, facades or machines are often difficult to clean. The problem: After sandblasting, for example, abrasives such as sand or glass granulate remain behind. What often follows is cleaning after cleaning. Ice blasting eliminates this effort and saves additional costs. The dry ice pellets dissolve completely after blasting and all that remains are CLEAN, DRY SURFACES WITHOUT MOISTURE!

Dry ice production process
In the production process, liquid carbon dioxide flows into the pelletizer's press cylinder. The pressure drop solidifies the liquid carbon dioxide into dry ice snow. A hydraulic cylinder compresses this dry ice snow, which is then pressed through an extruder plate. This produces sticks of dry ice, which then break into pellets.

blasting process
The Ice Blaster uses compressed air to accelerate the dry ice pellets, which are up to 3 mm in size, to over 150 m/s. Due to the high speed and cold temperatures of -79°C, the dirt freezes and cracks. The pellets penetrate the resulting cracks, explode and blast off the contamination. Dry ice blasting is therefore an effective method for removing almost any type of dirt without damaging the material.
