The history of Jürg Obrecht wines is not that of a classic winemaker: in 1997, Jürg Obrecht Jr. and his young family took over the vineyard and wine business after the sudden death of his father. Jürg Obrecht and his team continue to run the successful traditional business with passion and drive. With enthusiasm, hard work, and a passionate quest for perfect quality, the traditions of Obrecht wines are cultivated and carefully, innovatively, and courageously developed.

In 2005, the production facility was equipped with state-of-the-art cellar technology. The wines regularly receive awards. Innovative products such as Pinot Blanc Barrique and the newly launched sparkling wine "Tuns da Tschel" also appeal to new, young target groups.
