After completing her ophthalmology training at the ophthalmic hospital in Lausanne, Dr. Besse Hayat worked in Paris to specialize in retinal diseases such as macular degeneration (AMD), diabetes, vascular occlusions etc.

She has supplemented her practical training with a university degree in the field and is therefore equipped with all the latest retinal investigation equipment such as angiograph and OCT, and also performs all the latest retinal treatments: lasers, intra-vitreal injections, as well as the brand-new light therapy treatment for early dry AMD.
