Located in the heart of Martigny, in the shade of the centuries-old plane trees of the Place Centrale, Steve and Arnaud welcome you to the Steak House Martigny restaurant ( formerly Les Platanes), open non-stop from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The restaurant is located close to shops, a 10-minute walk from the train station and the famous Pierre Gianadda Foundation.
The restaurant can seat around 40 people inside, 60 on the charming terrace, and around 25 in the carnotzet, a traditional Valais cellar. The entire interior of the restaurant is non-smoking.
The Steak House team offers regional dishes, with new suggestions every week. The house specialty is undoubtedly the Swiss beef steak served on a slate with a choice of sauces created by the chef.
In 2006, the restaurant was awarded the "Saveurs du Valais" label, which means that you can enjoy dishes made with typical local products all year round, including:
croûtes and röstis with Bagnes cheese from the Champsec/Verbier dairy,
the Valais platter with guaranteed Valais AOC or IGP dried meat...
