Long established in Martigny's industrial zone since 1997, Levitation is getting a makeover and moving into the heart of the city in a disused former printing works.

Long considered a forerunner in establishing itself in an industrial zone back in the day, the evolution of the Levitation spirit now involves an establishment in the heart of the city.

Our desire and motivation remain more than ever to defend the values of Ride and support the scene. The long-dreamed-of and imagined café space has finally seen the light of day under the name of "La Buvette" and will enable you to come and share your post-ride experiences for even longer.

Our school aims to give a wide public the opportunity to start skateboarding and/or progress whatever their level, in ideal conditions and supervised by our professional teachers. Kids category ( up to 8 years) : Level 1
Wednesday afternoons4:00 pm and/or Saturday mornings 10:00 am (duration 45')

Location and times:
Courses will take place at the new Le Châble Skatepark where there is a complete complex for all levels with a street, bowl and pumptrack area. Classes will be given on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 to 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings from 10:00 to 12:00 am. The summer period runs from April 18 to June 30 and the autumn period from August 16 to October 30. Levels include 10 lessons. For private and group lessons it is possible to book other days of the week to be agreed according to the availability of our coaches. In case of bad weather (rain or snow) lessons will be cancelled and replaced.

Skateboard instructors:
Our experienced skateboard instructors have been part of the skateboard scene for many years and are specialists in the different disciplines: street, bowl and ramp. Our athletes are some of the best skaters in French-speaking Switzerland with some at international level.

Risks and insurance:
Wearing a helmet is compulsory for our classes, and we strongly advise wearing protection (knees/elbows/wrists). We accept no liability for accidents during lessons. All participants must be covered by private accident insurance. Skateboarding is a risky activity, but not a dangerous or extreme one. Balance, coordination of movement, physical fitness, passion as well as creativity are the basics of skateboarding.

Levitation has always been a meeting place for skateboarding enthusiasts of all kinds. The new positioning in the city center has enabled a synergy to be achieved between the shop and the café-Bar space.

In a soft alcove or at a table found in trendy flea markets, let yourself be tempted by the products on the menu. A few savoury tartines (cured ham, chorizo or vegetarian) prepared to the minute will leave you time to enjoy the decor during your lunch break.

Aperitif time La Buvette offers Flammekueche-style toasted bread accompanied by a Humagne Rouge from Gilbert Devayes or a Johannisberg from Nicolas Cheseaux.
