Established in 1997 in the Martigny industrial zone, Levitation is undergoing a makeover and moving to the heart of the city, into a former disused printing plant.

Long considered a pioneer for setting up in an industrial zone at the time, Levitation's evolution now sees it moving to a location in the heart of the city.

Our desire and motivation remain stronger than ever to defend the values of riding and support the scene. The long-dreamed-of and imagined café space has finally come to fruition under the name "La Buvette," allowing you to come and share your experiences after your ride for even longer.

SKATE SCHOOL

The Levitation skateboarding school is the first skate school in Valais. Since 1997, the Lévitation store has been committed to defending the values and practice of skateboarding. This is achieved through numerous events and, above all, by supporting the best skateboarders in Valais and French-speaking Switzerland. Our school aims to give a wide audience the opportunity to take up skateboarding and/or improve their skills, whatever their level, in ideal conditions and under the supervision of our professional instructors. The teaching method emphasizes step-by-step progression in a dynamic and, above all, safe environment.

Levitation Skateboarding School is the first skateboarding school in Valais. Since 1997, Levitation has been committed to promoting the values and practice of skateboarding. This is achieved through numerous events and, above all, by supporting the best skateboarders in Valais and French-speaking Switzerland. Our school aims to give a wide audience the opportunity to take up skateboarding and/or improve their skills, whatever their level, in ideal conditions and under the supervision of our professional instructors. The teaching method emphasizes step-by-step progression in a dynamic and, above all, safe environment.

Group lessons:
Kids category (up to 8 years old): Level 1
Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and/or Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. (45 minutes)
-5-lesson package $120
-10-lesson package $200

Boys/Girls category (ages 9 to 16): Levels 1 and 2
Wednesday afternoons at 5:00 p.m. and/or Saturday mornings at 11:00 a.m. (55 minutes)

Private and semi-private lessons:
-individual lessons, 55 minutes: 50.-
-Semi-private lessons, 2-3 people: $40 per person

over one or more days, with terms and prices to be determined.

Location and times:
Classes will be held at the new Le Châble Skatepark, which offers a complete complex for all levels with a street area, bowl, and pump track. Classes will be held on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The summer session runs from April 18 to June 30 and the fall session from August 16 to October 30. Each level consists of 10 lessons. For private and group lessons, it is possible to book other days of the week, depending on the availability of our coaches.In case of bad weather (rain or snow), lessons will be canceled and rescheduled.

Skateboarding instructors:
Our experienced skateboard instructors have been involved in the skateboarding scene for many years and are specialists in various disciplines: street, bowl, and ramp. Our athletes are among the best skateboarders in French-speaking Switzerland, with some competing at the international level.

Risks and insurance:
Helmets are mandatory for our lessons, and we strongly recommend wearing protective gear (knees/elbows/wrists). We accept no responsibility for accidents during lessons. Each participant must be covered by their own private accident insurance. Skateboarding is a risky activity, but it is neither dangerous nor extreme. Balance, coordination, physical fitness, passion, and creativity are the foundations of skateboarding.

Levitation has always been a meeting place for enthusiasts of all kinds of board sports. The new location in the city center has created synergy between the shop and the café-bar area.

In a cozy alcove or at a table found in trendy flea markets, let yourself be tempted by the items on the menu. A few savory tartines (raw ham, chorizo, or vegetarian) prepared to order will give you time to enjoy the decor during your lunch break.

At aperitif time, La Buvette offers Flammekueche-style toasted bread accompanied by a Humagne Rouge from Gilbert Devayes or a Johannisberg from Nicolas Cheseaux.
