Swiss Pallia Confort and its caregivers aim to offer patients non-medical support and comfort care to ensure the best possible quality of life.

The team also aims to support and relieve family caregivers.

The association primarily targets people who cannot afford home care and may ask others to contribute.

The territory covered is the canton of Geneva.

This approach closely involves all healthcare professionals already working with patients, relying in particular on the doctor/nurse duo, who are the patient's primary contacts.

In the initial phase, Swiss Pallia Confort intends to focus on end-of-life care,
The doctor/nurse team intervenes in the hours following an episode of instability in patients who wish to remain in their place of residence (home or nursing home).
The Swiss Pallia Confort team supports patients for 12 hours a day or more, depending on the case, and more specifically at night, with half-day support also available
The team also offers telephone support to schedule an intervention for the following day.
The team takes care of patients leaving the hospital to accompany them at the end of their lives at home and make the most of the time they have left.
This home care will be facilitated by the possible presence of family caregivers.

Swiss Pallia Confort helps to ensure continuity of care and facilitate the organization of the network and ecosystem around the patient.
The association aims to encourage skills development, training, and exchanges between all partners.
It also seeks to act as a catalyst and facilitator for the political approach to palliative care.
