We warmly welcome you to Regensdorf.

With around 20,000 inhabitants (Current population statistics) and 14.6 square kilometers of land area, Regensdorf is one of the largest municipalities in the Zurich Unterland and belongs to the district of Dielsdorf. Facing the cantonal capital, it leans against the scenic Katzensee lakes at 442 meters above sea level and stretches across the entire width of the Furttal valley. Down the valley, the villages of Buchs and Otelfingen are on the right, with Boppelsen nestling against the hillside in between. To the left of the Furtbach stream, the villages of Dällikon, Dänikon and Hüttikon line up at a reasonable distance.

Regensdorf is a mixture of rural idyll and throbbing suburb. Its excellent transport links, proximity to the city and large recreational area make Regensdorf an attractive place to live where you can feel completely at ease. Despite its size, Regensdorf has not lost its village charm. Examples of this include the old village center, the sunny vineyard and the Altburg ruins.

Regensdorf also stands for modern and dynamic: with the "Bahnhof Nord" project, Regensdorf will be enriched by a modern and urban district with space for a total of 6,500 residents within around 25 years.

And this is how we want Regensdorf to look in 30 years' time: an urban regional center in the sustainably developed Furttal valley with inviting meeting zones, diverse meeting places and stores, lively village centers in Adlikon, Regensdorf and Watt, quiet residential areas, well-run schools, spacious community facilities and 20,000 jobs.
