J. Kaufmann AG

J. Kaufmann AG was founded in October 1980 with four shareholders. Upon its founding, the company purchased the building on Neuhaltenstrasse in Ebikon. Since its founding, the company has been managed by Josef Kaufmann, who is now the sole shareholder together with his wife Erna.

A new page in the company's history was turned in 2014 when Ricardo Dos Santos took over the management of J. Kaufmann AG on January 6, 2014. The 30-year-old dual citizen has been working at J. Kaufmann AG for over 15 years and completed his apprenticeship and further training as a master bodywork technician at the company.

The premises were divided into a body shop and a paint shop. In March 1981, the company began setting up and carrying out its first jobs with a staff of six skilled workers. The customer base, which mainly comes from Ebikon and Rontal, has been steadily growing and expanding. Today, the company employs nine professionals and five apprentices. Over the years, the company has continuously invested in its infrastructure and facilities. As a result, the workspaces and equipment are state-of-the-art.

Training and further education have always been very important at Carrosserie J. Kaufmann AG. We have trained over 20 apprentices since the company was founded. Our employees are kept up to date with the latest technology through courses or in-house training on new machines, tools, and materials.
