Description
A warm welcome
The Humanushaus is a socio-therapeutic living and working community. Its core task is to secure and create living spaces for people with special needs. Living together promotes individual needs for personal development and a self-determined lifestyle.
Adolescents and adults with different disabilities and ages can be admitted to the Humanushaus.
The Humanushaus is designed as a "residential home with employment". A community with a village character forms the basis for living together in the 12 individually designed shared apartments.
The various workshops are designed to provide people with disabilities with appropriate forms of work that convey a sense of purpose and recognition in the sense of work.
The leisure activities on offer at Humanushaus include artistic and musical activities as well as sport and education.
The residents are stimulated in their development with various anthroposophical therapies using a salutogenetic approach and their health is maintained or promoted.
The Humanushaus offers apprenticeships in social professions at various levels.
Camphill Movement
The Humanushaus is a member of the worldwide Camphill Movement and the foundations are based on the anthroposophical view of humanity according to Rudolf Steiner.
