General medicine FMH
It has always been my dream to combine the experience of traditional medicine and psychosomatic medicine with the techniques I have learned in complementary fields.
I am convinced that it is essential to take a holistic approach to treating people, addressing all aspects from the physical to the mental, psychological, and spiritual.
Everything is connected, and I believe that well-being is the result of a balance between all these aspects.
In addition to traditional medicine, I also offer the following therapies in my medical practice for those who are interested:
- Ayurvedic therapies and Ayurvedic massage
- deep relaxation techniques
- aromatherapy
- color therapy
- metacorporeal breathing
- meditation
- Ayurvedic therapies:
Ayurveda means "knowledge of life" and is therefore a philosophy (originated in India) that applies to life and things. It is essentially a system for the prevention and treatment of diseases that starts from a holistic approach that focuses on the person as a whole and in harmony with Nature, with the aim of tracing the causes that determine the symptom.
According to this practice, three types of vital energy, the doshas, flow through the body in different proportions depending on each individual's constitution.
The three doshas vary in balance throughout the year, the seasons, and the days, so Ayurvedic therapies take these variations into account. They suggest appropriate behaviors and foods to eat according to each change and in case of imbalance, because this leads to illness.
These three energies are called vata, pitta, and kapha. Each dosha is composed of a combination of two of the five elements (air, ether, water, fire, earth) and has certain qualities that characterize it. By identifying the prevalence of one of these three forces in each person, it is possible to classify them both in terms of personality and physique. This allows us to identify any resulting dysfunctions, which always arise from imbalances between these doshas.
Targeted Ayurvedic massages are also applied in the studio.
- Deep relaxation technique:
relaxation is a state that is achieved in order to attain calm, peace, and happiness.
These goals can be achieved through various methods. These include meditation, imaginative techniques, and hypnosis. The benefits of relaxation include greater awareness, reduced anxiety, increased concentration and memory, and higher energy and vitality levels.
- Aromatherapy:
Aromatherapy is considered a branch of phytotherapy that uses essential oils for health maintenance and therapy.
The term aromatherapy does not refer exclusively to the olfactory use of essential oils but also includes all other applications:
topical, inhalation, and oral.
Aromatherapy has multiple benefits for both the body and the mind.
- Chromotherapy:
The color and tones of light that radiate towards a specific part of the body transmit vibrations that restore energy balance.
Chromopuncture is a color-based method for treating various problems of the body and mind, such as:
- migraines
- insomnia
- anxiety
- chronic pain
- sadness and depression
- chronic fatigue
- fear
- high blood pressure
- Metacorporeal breathing:
"breathing is like a kiss on the heart that makes it blossom like a flower"
This relaxation technique helps you become aware of your body through your breath. Breathing brings out our resources and ability to understand ourselves. It reduces stress and increases vital energy.
The body does not lie, and breathing is the breath of life.
In addition, for metacorporeal breathing, meditation, and personal growth evenings, I collaborate with my husband, Fortuna Riccardo, a certified metacorporeal breathing practitioner and certified in Metacorporeal Relational Counseling (Oceano Sintesi - Milan) recognized by Sgfb.
