Description
PRESENTATION
Cédric Flaction vinifies the product of 10 hectares located in a fairly extensive area, stretching from Sierre to Saillon. In other words, he works with parcels located in a multitude of different terroirs, since the Valais is known for its great geological diversity. As a result, he benefits from an optimal soil-varietal match, with each of the varieties he encavées having been harvested in its preferred terroir(s): the red and white humagnes come from Leytron and the johannisberg from Sierre and Chamoson, to name but two examples.
Terroirs and grape varieties
Sierre: Païen, Arvine and Johannisberg
Uvrier: Merlot
Batassé (east of Sion): Fendant, Marsanne blanche, Pinot Noir, Gamay
Conthey: Païen
Chamoson: Johannisberg
Leytron: Humagne rouge, Humagne blanc
Saillon: Arvine
- Torpâ Dry white blend. The sublime marriage between Païen and Marsanne make this white wine, a great wine for aging.
Lo Grafion Red blend. The sultry marriage of Merlot with Tempranillo make this red wine, a magnificent southern wine, with lots of personality. A superb wine to discover absolutely.
Lo Terôn Sweet wine made from Païen and Marsanne grapes. Fully botrytized harvest, delicately picked on December 18 at 157°Oe.
