History The foundation of the Leukersonne company dates back to 1976 and was brought to life by René Seewer. Together with his wife Marzella, the former hobby farmer dedicated his lifeblood to wine and grew into a passionate winemaker over the years. The then small family business increasingly became a popular meeting place for wine lovers.

Sons Jörg and Damian have been continuing what their parents made their life's work since 1997.

With the necessary respect for nature, a lot of passion and love, we create high-quality, characterful and multi-faceted fine wines.
All that we have learned from our father, all the experience he has given us along the way, we can live with pride today. We face the challenges of what makes a good wine every day. We put our heart and soul into presenting our customers with a varied and high-quality range. We live with wine, wine is our passion and we grow with our experiences every day.

Tasting at Rufi

The country house "Rufi" is located in the middle of the vineyards along the Rhone. There is the possibility for about 50-55 people to taste our wines and enjoy delicious Valais specialties.

Cellar tour with aperitif at Carnozet, followed by a vineyard walk to Domaine Rufi, approx. 30 minutes. There is the possibility to take a rental bus to Rufi, cost SFr. 100.-. Screening of a newly produced film from the Leuk region about the vines and their cultivation.

Large-scale wine tasting of aperitif wines, traditional white wines and modern white wines (Chardonnay, Marciel). Transition to rosé wines, followed by a tasting of light to full-bodied red wine specialties. (Hommage, Grande-Cuvée, Solis).
A dessert wine is served as the highlight, for example a straw wine that has been awarded a gold medal.

We are happy to serve you genuine Valais specialties or other delicacies, which are prepared with great care by the local restaurants. The prices depend on the menu suggestions.
