A genuine Bernese Oberland restaurant
The Kreuzweg restaurant in Unterlangenegg is located near Thun, in a beautiful hiking area. The post bus station is right in front of the house, which makes our restaurant the ideal place for a stopover. Car parking spaces are also available.
We offer home-style Swiss cuisine in a rustic ambience. The dishes consist of Swiss classics with seasonal ingredients. When selecting the ingredients, we pay attention to products from the region.
Whether for snack, lunch, afternoon snack or dinner - you are sure to find something suitable on our menu. If you're feeling peckish, we serve an aperitif plate with dry sausage and cheese.
The restaurant has a cozy dining room, a lounge, a large banquet hall for weddings and other celebrations and two terraces. You can enjoy the morning sun on the second terrace behind the house. With a playground outside and a play corner inside, even our younger guests will never get bored.
The team
The Kreuzweg restaurant has been run by Peter Wenger and his wife Sandra Wenger since 2007. Peter Wenger enjoys personal contact with his guests. He can be found in service when he is not working behind the scenes as an all-rounder. Mrs. Wenger, together with two temporary chefs, takes care of the culinary well-being of the guests.

Wir waren gestern 5 Personen zum Mittagessen im Restaurant Kreuzweg. Das Ambiente, der Service, die Küche, alles war top. Trotz grossem Gästeaufkommen inklusive Bankett im Saal, spürte man keine Hektik, alles war perfekt organisiert und das Personal zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.
