Located in Vandoeuvres, surrounded by a park with century-old trees, a landscaped garden, and a pond, the Maison de Pressy offers a warm and peaceful living environment.Built in 1875 thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Cécile Marracci, née Moricand, Mr. Philippe Moricand, and Mr. Pierre Dunant, the primary purpose of the "Asile de Pressy" was to provide shelter for women and girls in need.
The building was completely renovated in 1995 and became a medical-social establishment (EMS), managed by the "Association Maison de Pressy."
On July 1, 2014, the Maison de Pressy ceased to be a nursing home and became a private residence once again. Its non-profit goal, still in keeping with the spirit of its founders, is to welcome elderly people who need temporary personalized care (respite stays, "fitness" stays, vacations for relatives) or long-term care.
At Pressy, every effort is made to make residents feel "at home" in a friendly, family atmosphere. Respect, quality of life, comfort, and well-being are the main concerns of the members of the Foundation and Association committees, the management, and the teams.
