Welcome
Our goal is to offer you a wide range of physiotherapy treatments in a modern practice.
Using manual techniques, we can examine functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system (joints, muscles, nerves) in a differentiated manner and treat them in a targeted way.
We constantly review our hypotheses and adapt the treatment to the body's reactions and the treatment results in order to achieve the best possible outcome.
Muscle building / Medical training therapy (MTT)
We provide training that is as relevant to everyday life as possible, using free weights, traction devices, and various small equipment (wobble boards, gyroscopes, Sypoba, Therabands, soft mats, etc.). In this way, we address all structures (muscles, tendons, ligaments, cartilage) and promote their resilience and movement tolerance.
Neurological treatments
We treat people with neurological disorders with the aim of developing, maintaining, or improving as many everyday functions as possible. The patient should be reintegrated into their familiar environment, thereby maintaining or improving their quality of life.
Pediatric physical therapy
The therapy is tailored to the different stages of development of the infant, child, or adolescent. These may include congenital conditions, acquired physical problems, or accidents, such as:
Torticollis, developmental delay, clubfoot, flat feet, poor posture, headaches in children, scoliosis, orthopedic or surgical operations
Lymphological physiotherapy
We treat edema disorders such as lymphedema, lipedema, phleboedema, and post-traumatic and post-operative edema. In addition to manual lymphatic drainage, the concept always includes continuous compression (with bandages and/or compression stockings).
Respiratory therapy, functional rehabilitation, counseling, and instruction on self-treatment complement the comprehensive treatment. In an initial assessment, the exact procedure with an intensive phase (reduction of the edema) and maintenance phase (through compression) is explained, and the further planning of the therapy is individually adapted to the patient's problem.
Home treatments
We also treat patients who are unable to come to us for therapy at their homes, provided that this has been prescribed by a doctor and they live in Winterthur-Seen.
