Restaurant Gasthof zum Rössli

This traditional, well-maintained inn has been owned by the Wohler family for several generations. The building, with its more than 250 years of history, is protected as a local landmark. The Gasthof zum Rössli is known throughout Freiamt for its excellent cuisine and uncomplicated, family-style hospitality.

Our seasonal, market-oriented menu offers a cross-section of traditional Swiss cuisine, peppered with innovative, modern creations and international delicacies.

Whether for lunch, à la carte, a small snack from our snack menu, or a glass of fine wine —there is something to tempt every palate. Of course, this also applies to our youngest guests.

In addition to our restaurant, you will also find our boarding house in our beautiful old building. Our guests stay in an urban environment, enjoy privacy, and can take advantage of hotel-like services if they wish.

Our boarding house offers you independence and privacy. You cater for yourself and stay for an indefinite period in an urban environment. The rooms on offer are furnished. We have simple hotel rooms with bath/shower and WC; simple guest rooms with/without washbasin and with shared shower and WC.

The boarding house offers the following hotel services: free internet access, flat-screen TV. Further services can be found in the room prices.
