The traditional, well-kept inn has been owned by the Wohler family for several generations. The building, with over 250 years of history, is under municipal heritage protection. The Gasthof zum Rössli is known in the Freiamt for its good cuisine and uncomplicated, family hospitality.

Our seasonal, market-oriented menu is a cross-section of bourgeois and traditional Swiss cuisine. It is peppered with both innovative, modern creations and international delicacies.

In addition to the restaurant, you will also find our boarding house in our beautiful old building. Our guests stay in an urban environment, enjoy privacy and can use hotel-like services if they wish.

Our boarding house offers you independence and privacy. You cater for yourself and live in an urban environment for an (indefinite) period of time. The rooms offered are furnished. We have simple hotel rooms with bath/shower and WC; simple guest rooms with/without washbasin and with shared shower and WC.

The boarding house has the following hotel services: free internet access, flat-screen TV. The other services can be found in the room prices.
