What is urology and who do we serve?
Urology deals with diseases or functional disorders of the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra in both sexes, as well as the male genitals and, in this context, also part of andrology, namely reproduction.

Diagnostics
Diagnosis of functional disorders, diseases (benign and malignant), and injuries of the

• kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, bladder, and urethra in women and men
• prostate, seminal vesicles, testicles, epididymis, and internal and external male genitals

Latest generation examination equipment:

• Flexible cystoscopy under local anesthesia
• Ultrasound including color Doppler and contrast agent
• Uroflowmetry with residual urine measurement
• Three-dimensional ultrasound-guided prostate biopsy

Therapy
All conservative therapies are offered.
All surgical procedures, in particular stone and tumor surgery on the kidneys, adrenal glands, ureters, bladder, and urethra, are performed for both women and men using DaVinci/robot-assisted laparoscopy (abdominal endoscopy) and/or endoscopy (through the existing anatomical openings) and, in rare cases, open surgery.
This includes all operations on the internal and external male genitals.
