This small hotel in the middle of the 20th century, still managed by the same family, it has retained the atmosphere of a typical and cozy private house Ticino. The panoramic view over Lugano mountains, the romantic garden with camellias, palm trees, chestnut trees, the American grape pergola and a splendid swimming pool accentuate the charm. The newly renovated rooms, equipped with private bathroom, reflect the character and style of a private residence, very cozy in their simplicity. Most rooms have views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast is served in the dining room with large windows and sun-kissed. The highlight of the hotel is the passion for good food combined with tradition: the memory plates and heart, those who would like to try in your own home and do not do more. The use of high quality ingredients and cooking methods measured guide us in all preparations of appetizers, fresh pasta, seconds, until our ice cream sweet tooth.

Grotto Monte Creda is located in Villa Luganese, surrounded by greenery at the foot of the «Denti della Vecchia». We offer traditional Ticino cuisine, with homemade dishes and local products. Summer specialties: grill, mushrooms – Winter specialties: wildmeat, saddle of roe deer. Large car park, panoramic terrace, banquet room for events and a playground area for younger customers. Reservation appreciated. Closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.
