Beeindruckt waren wir vom Barriquekeller mit dem theatralisch aufgemachten Cheminée mit echtem Feuer, dem informativen Museum, natürlich der modernen Produktion und nicht zuletzt dem sorgfältig betreuten Reifelager für den Aceto balsamico. Die liebevoll gestaltete Degustation bildete den krönenden Abschluss. Beim anschliessenden Diner in der Botega del Vino in Locarno war das Team dort für eine nahtlose Fortsetzung des gelungenen Anlasses besorgt.

Ho avuto la necessità di sostituire una ruota che era danneggiata perché non avevo potuto evitare dei rottami persi da un camion in autostrada. In cinque minuti mi hanno montato la ruota di scorta e al momento di pagare mi è stato detto di dare una mancia ai ragazzi che hanno fatto il lavoro. Peccato che sia così lontano da dove risiedo io, altrimenti sarebbe diventato il mio gommista di fiducia.
