Our team of doctors and opticians offers a full range of ophthalmological and holistic diagnostics and therapy, prevention and treatment of various eye diseases such as glaucoma (glaucoma), cataract (cataract), age-related macular degeneration, keratoconus, retinal detachment and diabetic retinopathy. Our services include regular screenings, vision testing for driver's licenses, issuing eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, as well as surgical procedures and laser treatments. Ophthalmic surgery Our in-house operating room is equipped for any ophthalmic surgery procedures. Surgeries are usually performed on an outpatient basis. In addition to common cataract, glaucoma and retinal surgeries, intravitreal injections are also performed in the sterile operating room. Surgeries such as eyelid correction, corneal transplants and crosslinking can also be performed. Refractive surgery Thanks to modern technology, different refractive errors can be corrected today, with the aim of making the eye independent of correction using glasses or contact lenses. With all treatment options, visual acuity increases significantly. Our offer includes femto-lasik, photorefractive keratectomy (PRK) or, in case of severe refractive error (over - 6/+3 diopters), the insertion of an artificial lens followed by laser correction (Bioptics). Outpatient Outpatient treatment is suitable for patients who are still able to cope with their everyday tasks despite a mental health crisis or illness. It is designed to help them cope with the crisis or illness and remain integrated in their private and eventually professional environment. Partial inpatient treatment In addition to outpatient therapy, partial inpatient treatment offers patients suffering from a mental health crisis or illness additional support and structure. This often means that inpatient treatment can be avoided or shortened. In addition, patients remain largely integrated in their environment. Privatklinik Wyss offers two treatment programmes in Münchenbuchsee, which differ in their weekly structure (5 or 3 weekdays). As the individual treatment elements are carefully coordinated, attendance is required on all programme days. Inpatient Inpatient treatment for a mental health crisis or illness may be indicated for various reasons: It is hardly possible to cope with everyday tasks. There are signs of increasing self-harm. It is temporarily necessary to distance oneself from a stressful or self-incriminating environment. In view of the complexity of a crisis, illness or situation, intensive and focussed clarification or treatment is necessary. Stability for outpatient or partial inpatient treatment is not (or no longer) sufficient. The village of Münchenbuchsee, nestled in the countryside, is easily accessible by public transport as well as by car. The clinic has an idyllic park, an animal park, sports facilities and our à la carte catering service bears the "Goût Mieux"

Permanent Residence, Family Atmosphere, and Individual Care Around half of the beds in our clinic (approximately 25 beds) are typically occupied by permanent residents. Due to our operational size, we can provide individual care to our residents and guests, offering them a cozy new home accordingly. Residents with severe care needs benefit from our well-developed medical infrastructure, which rarely fails to meet their needs and necessitates a hospital transfer. Our cafeteria, the cozy lounges, and the large terrace (depending on the season) invite you to stay and relax. The opportunity to engage in occupational therapy activities, supervised walks, and individual events ensure a varied stay at the EDEN rehabilitation care clinic. Vacation and Transitional Solutions Guests who register for a vacation at EDEN without needing care are welcomed as spa guests. We recommend having your general practitioner prescribe a spa stay, allowing for invoicing without value-added tax. Care-dependent guests who enter for a defined period (maximum of 56 days in a calendar year, multiple stays possible) to relieve caregivers are admitted as short-term residents (billed according to the BESA service module). Transitional Stay This refers to admitting a guest to our facility for an undefined period. Possible reasons include: • Entry into the preferred institution is not yet possible. • After completing a spa stay, the necessary independence to return home is not yet present. • Medically prescribed spa stay after an accident or illness. Medically Prescribed Spa Stay After an Accident or Illness After an acute hospital stay or severe illness at home, a spa recuperation stay can be prescribed by the attending physician. The spa stay is justifiable from a medical perspective (recovery under medical supervision, possibly with care or therapy). The spa is an alternative to outpatient medical care at home (possibly with home care services / therapy / doctor visits / meal service / household help / transportation service). A spa stay can sometimes be more cost-effective than a combination of outpatient services at home. If your doctor supports a spa/recovery stay, have them issue a spa prescription, which you then forward to your health insurance or insurance provider. We need a copy of this spa prescription at the latest on the day of arrival. Medical and therapeutic services are covered by at least 90% by the basic insurance. Special rules apply to nursing care costs. Spa guests with additional insurance receive between CHF 20 and CHF 120 per day towards hotel costs at EDEN, which is also recognized as a spa house by "santésuisse." Therapy Services Physiotherapy is provided by therapists from the REHA KLINIK EDEN in Oberried at our facility in Ringgenberg. Certified physiotherapists provide holistic and individual treatment through physiotherapy in orthopedics / neurosurgery / rheumatology / neurology, and internal medicine.
