Staglio is an artisanal "pizza al taglio" take-away store based in Lugano, Switzerland. The "pizza al taglio" (pizza by the slice or, more accurately, pizza by the cut) is a particular kind of pizza originating from Rome, baked in a rectangular tray, garnished with a potentially infinite variety of toppings, and cut in slices with scissors. We use only fresh, high quality ingredients: pomodori pelati San Marzano DOP, mozzarella di bufala campana DOP, seasonal fresh vegetables, artisanal cheeses, chemicals free cold cuts. Our product has a long dough maturation time (48h) and this, in addition to the high content in water (80%), makes the product extremely light and easy to digest. On our counter you'll always find something vegan or vegetarian, in addition to pizza with meat, fish or cheese.

Avevo voglia di pesce e un collega mi ha suggerito il ristorante Alla Torretta, che da poco ha cambiato gestione. Sono andato in pausa pranzo e ho preso le linguine allo scoglio con olive e cozze. Erano SPAZIALI, abbondanti ma ne volevo un altro piatto. Carmelo, il proprietario é simpaticissimo ed è passato più volte ad assicurarsi andasse tutto bene. Speso poco e mangiato bene. Consigliatissimo!
