Welcome. Locanda Villa d'Epoca is located at Ronchini di Aurigeno in Vallemaggia. We can be reached from Locarno in 15 minutes by car or by regular buses; the bus stop is adjacent to our entrance. Rooms: The Villa was built in 1896, completely renovated in 2000 and underwent further renovation during winter 2023/2024. As of March 1, 2024, the new manager is Elisabetta Martinoli, who has long experience in the restaurant business as she ran Grotto da Peo at Monti in Ronco s/Ascona for a decade and previously was active in various restaurants in Geneva for thirty years. The rooms were renovated in winter 2023/2024 and all have minibars, coffee and tea makers, bathrobes, and free wi-fi. Only one does not have a shower and toilet in the room but has it privately outside. Included in the price of the rooms is a buffet breakfast. Free parking is available for our guests. Restaurant: Locanda Villa d'Epoca offers local and home cooking where local or regional products are preferred. Depending on the season, different recipes are offered such as ravioli, gnocchi, risotto, rabbit, shin, braised meat, etc.. In autumn there is no shortage of fresh porcini mushrooms and game. Prima volta ieri sera in questo ristorante essendo amanti della carne. In due abbiamo preso le baby ribs alla bbq, una USA steak da 500gr, 300 gr di tartare di Angus e patatine fritte. tutti i piatti di carne erano guarniti con contorni e condimenti ed erano spaziali: le ribs tenerissime, la bistecca rosa ma non al sangue che si scioglieva in bocca, per non parlare della tartare, gustosissima. oltre alla carne che è assolutamente di prima qualità, vogliamo ringraziare tutto lo staff altamente competente, tutti gentilissimi e sorridenti. alla fine abbiamo preso una mousse al pistacchio ed una al ferrero rocher entrambe gustose ma non stucchevoli e poi ci hanno omaggiato di un sorbetto al limone artigianale, anch'esso davvero buonissimo. la loro birra weiss è molto corposa e non amara. Complimenti a tutti, dai proprietari, ai cuochi, allo staff di sala. Ci torneremo sicuramente per provare tutto il menu, quindi non cambiate nulla! Grazie per la piacevolissima serata! Laura

genau so ist es eine wunderbare Aussicht wo das Herz berührt ,die freundlichen Menschen und natürlich die absolut gute Bio Küche mit viel Flair tut der Seele gut.Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.
