Permanent Residence, Family Atmosphere, and Individual Care Around half of the beds in our clinic (approximately 25 beds) are typically occupied by permanent residents. Due to our operational size, we can provide individual care to our residents and guests, offering them a cozy new home accordingly. Residents with severe care needs benefit from our well-developed medical infrastructure, which rarely fails to meet their needs and necessitates a hospital transfer. Our cafeteria, the cozy lounges, and the large terrace (depending on the season) invite you to stay and relax. The opportunity to engage in occupational therapy activities, supervised walks, and individual events ensure a varied stay at the EDEN rehabilitation care clinic. Vacation and Transitional Solutions Guests who register for a vacation at EDEN without needing care are welcomed as spa guests. We recommend having your general practitioner prescribe a spa stay, allowing for invoicing without value-added tax. Care-dependent guests who enter for a defined period (maximum of 56 days in a calendar year, multiple stays possible) to relieve caregivers are admitted as short-term residents (billed according to the BESA service module). Transitional Stay This refers to admitting a guest to our facility for an undefined period. Possible reasons include: • Entry into the preferred institution is not yet possible. • After completing a spa stay, the necessary independence to return home is not yet present. • Medically prescribed spa stay after an accident or illness. Medically Prescribed Spa Stay After an Accident or Illness After an acute hospital stay or severe illness at home, a spa recuperation stay can be prescribed by the attending physician. The spa stay is justifiable from a medical perspective (recovery under medical supervision, possibly with care or therapy). The spa is an alternative to outpatient medical care at home (possibly with home care services / therapy / doctor visits / meal service / household help / transportation service). A spa stay can sometimes be more cost-effective than a combination of outpatient services at home. If your doctor supports a spa/recovery stay, have them issue a spa prescription, which you then forward to your health insurance or insurance provider. We need a copy of this spa prescription at the latest on the day of arrival. Medical and therapeutic services are covered by at least 90% by the basic insurance. Special rules apply to nursing care costs. Spa guests with additional insurance receive between CHF 20 and CHF 120 per day towards hotel costs at EDEN, which is also recognized as a spa house by "santésuisse." To find out the amount of participation in the boarding costs, please contact your health insurance. Therapy Services Physiotherapy is provided by therapists from the REHA KLINIK EDEN in Oberried at our facility in Ringgenberg. Certified physiotherapists provide holistic and individual treatment through physiotherapy in orthopedics / neurosurgery / rheumatology / neurology, and internal medicine. Care or Nursing of Relatives Do you care for your relatives? EDEN CARE offers you: • Good compensation for your work at home, including social benefits, vacation compensation • Free counseling sessions • Home analysis by experienced certified nursing professionals • Expert advice and support • Relief offers for you and your relatives Fair Compensation for Your Home Care "EDEN CARE" Do you provide loving care for your relatives every day? wir waren das 1. mal im restaurant bahnhof. wir haben seher gut und fein gegessen. auch die kleine portion war gross. es hat uns sehr geschmeckt. werden wieder dort essen gehen. 👍☺️

Das Essen wurde erfreulich schnell serviert und war sehr fein. Obwohl das Restaurant voll war wirkt es immer noch sehr offen und gemütlich.

The new location brought a great improvement. The service is excellent and the menu abundant and diverse. Preparation to a high standard without unnecessary garnishing for show. Due to ceiling and flor being of hard material and large windows the noise level is becoming difficult to handle especially with the handicap of my hearing aids. It is one of the highly recommendable places in the area with a lot of parking space.

My passion for cooking began in my childhood, when I spent my holidays in the Grisons and enjoyed exploring every corner of my grandparents' hotel. My restaurant is a blend of Italian and French taste, emphasizing quality. This quality starts with the selection of products, all fresh and of the highest quality. I offer a light cuisine, without altering the ingredients and flavors. Our menu is entirely replaced at the beginning of each season, and the tasting menu is renewed every month. Awards The Locanda Orico restaurant has been awarded a Michelin star and scored 16/20 points in Gault & Millau (Rising Star of the Year 2003). In 2021, it received the Swiss Culinary Merit Award. The Master Behind the Flavors: Chef Lorenzo Albrici I had the fortune of assisting the brigade at Frédy Girardet's restaurant. My name is Lorenzo Albrici, and since 1998, I have worked as the owner and chef at the Locanda Orico restaurant. I spent several years working as a cook, during winter seasons in the kitchens of large hotels in Engadin and during summer seasons in major hotels in other Swiss cities. The Wine Cellar The Locanda Orico restaurant offers a cellar with many labels of fine wines, including the best selection of local and international wines. Our professional sommeliers will be happy to advise you and meet your every need. We also have an excellent selection of half-bottles, and you can also ask to pair your menus with wine by the glass. We also offer you the option to take home any wine that is not entirely consumed during dinner. Feel free to ask our staff, who will gladly prepare a takeout package for you. Interiors The restaurant has two independent, well-kept, and elegant rooms, with soft lighting and exposed beams on the ceilings. In the large room on the right, there are six tables accommodating a maximum of 21 people. In the smaller room on the left, there are four tables for a maximum of 10 people. The rooms can be reserved individually for your special occasions. Banquets The two rooms can accommodate up to a maximum of 40 people (in the large room, up to a maximum of 28, and in the small room, up to a maximum of 12).
