Launched more than forty years ago by Yvan Chappuis, a former manager of the Landi cooperative, the Cave des Vins Fins in Chénens is the result of his passion for wine. A wine cellar was built on the site of the cooperative, where no fewer than 50,000 bottles are stored. The Cave à la Cornalle , led by Philippe Rouge , is a true winemaking treasure located in Epesses , in the heart of the terraced vineyards of Lavaux , a UNESCO World Heritage site. The Rouge family , established in Epesses since 1553 , has been preserving and passing down its winemaking expertise from generation to generation. The estate spans 4.8 hectares , cultivated under integrated production , in full respect of tradition and the local terroir. The vineyards stretch across several prestigious appellations: St-Saphorin , Epesses , Calamin , and Dézaley , offering a unique diversity at the heart of Lavaux. The estate’s specialty is Chasselas , the iconic white grape variety that represents 80% of the total production. This wine pairs perfectly with the vineyard’s clay-rich soils , revealing finesse, minerality, and authenticity. The harvests are vinified in the modern La Cornalle cellar , built in 1992 above the village of Epesses. Equipped according to the latest technical standards, this facility ensures precise control of fermentation temperatures , guaranteeing wines of great purity and exceptional quality. In addition to Chasselas, the estate also produces red wines , including Pinot Noir and various blends featuring Cabernet , Garanoir , Gamaret , and Galotta , as well as rosé wines , all crafted with passion, precision, and a deep respect for the terroir. Since 1792, Fratelli Corti SA has been involved in the vinification of grapes from the Mendrisiotto region, located in the southern part of the Canton of Ticino. The company originally produced local white and red wines, as well as grape juices, and later began vinifying Merlot grapes following their introduction to Ticino at the beginning of this century. Today, our range of Ticino wines includes white wines made from Chardonnay, Doral, and Kerner grapes, and red wines made from Merlot, Maeselan, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah grapes.

A Wine Cellar This is, of course, the heart of the Caves du Château. It houses over a hundred wine selections from Switzerland, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, and beyond. It is here that Léo Macquat seeks to share his values, his love for the land, and the stories of the dedicated winemakers whose work you hold in your hands. Many small estates practicing biodynamic farming or producing sulfite-free wines, sometimes little known, are represented here. But that’s not all: the wine merchant sets no limits. Drawing on his many years in the kitchens of top chefs, he offers guests delicate amuse-bouches. The Grand Cru Cellar Secrecy, discretion, prestige… The finest and rarest wines in Léo Macquat’s collection have a separate cellar of their own—worth a visit, if only for the pleasure of the eyes. A Conference Room A state-of-the-art conference room, also equipped for video conferencing, is available for businesses, professionals, and organizations seeking a unique and discreet meeting space.

Lavaux Expérience Out on the vineyard terraces, with their breathtaking views of the lake, the vines and the mountains, you will have the opportunity to find out all about the winegrower’s work through the changing seasons and to spend around 1 hour putting your newly acquired knowledge into practice. Then afterwards among our oak barrels in the cellars and in our wine vault you can taste the wines from the domaine, accompanied by local dishes typical of our region.
