Our services:

As a SPITEX organization, it is important to us to understand people, support them, and accompany them in maintaining their health, on the path to health, during illness, or when dying.
We don't just work with older people; we are also happy to care for young families during childbirth, accidents, or illness.

Needs assessment

We assess at home how much and what kind of help is appropriate and necessary, what and how much help relatives can provide, what aids could be used to make things easier, etc. The aim of a needs assessment is to make care at home as comprehensive and economical as possible (neither over- nor under-provision).
This needs assessment, together with the doctor's referral (registration form), is a prerequisite for the costs to be covered by health insurance companies. It is valid for 3 to 6 months and can be repeated.

Basic care

General basic care for clients who are unable to perform the activities themselves, such as assistance with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, eating and drinking, bandaging legs, putting on compression stockings, bedding, positioning, movement exercises, mobilization, pressure ulcer prevention, measures to prevent or remedy treatment-related skin damage, assistance with oral care.
Basic psychiatric or psychogeriatric care.

Treatment care

Treatment care is all the medically prescribed care that a nurse in a hospital also provides: from injections to infusions, from simple dressing changes to the care and treatment of complicated and poorly healing wounds; from stoma care to the application of bandages, measuring vital signs (blood pressure, pulse), determining blood sugar levels, preparing and administering medication.

Housekeeping

General household tasks for clients who are unable to perform these activities themselves or need assistance, such as:

• Routine cleaning (daily/weekly cleaning)
• Major maintenance cleaning = work that goes beyond normal weekly cleaning, such as spring cleaning, shampooing carpets, emptying and cleaning cupboards, cleaning windows, etc. Only after consultation with the Spitex manager. These services are charged at a higher rate.
• Sorting, washing, and ironing weekly laundry
• Shopping
• Cooking/washing up
• Tidying
• Caring for flowers and plants at home (excluding heavy gardening work)
• Small mending jobs
• Clothes and shoe care
• Pet care

Care

• Performing household chores together
• Eating together during day assignments or when working over lunchtime
• Time to listen and show interest
• Help with simple activities such as writing, making phone calls, and reading
• Going for walks
• Relief for family members
• In exceptional cases, accompanying the person to the doctor or other urgent errands
• Childcare

All these tasks should, if possible, be carried out in cooperation with the client.
