Our History
Osteria Resega has its roots in an old grotto, a place where people used to gather to enjoy good food in a simple and cozy atmosphere. In 1952, this grotto was officially transformed into the restaurant we know today. Since then, for over 70 years, we have served generations of customers, keeping our passion for traditional cuisine alive.
From the very beginning, we have dedicated ourselves to offering three types of cuisine, each with its own identity and a focus on quality
meat: we prepare selected cuts using simple and traditional methods to bring out their authentic flavor;
fish: every day we choose the freshest catch for our dishes, bringing to the table the genuine flavors of the sea;
pizza: our pizza, baked in a wood-fired oven, is made with carefully leavened dough and selected ingredients, for an experience that combines tradition and taste.
Restaurant with meat and fish specialties
At Osteria Resega in Porza - Canobbio, the Alps meet the placid waters of Lake Maggiore, where we celebrate the authentic flavors of our land and lake.
We specialize in an offering that ranges from the robustness of meat, with select cuts and preparations that honor tradition, to the delicacy of fish, with proposals that enhance the catch of the day, such as perch and bleak, to lake specialties. Each dish is a tribute to the culinary richness of Porza - Canobbio and its valleys!
We are open from 11:30 am to 2 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm. We would also like to remind you that we are closed every Sunday from June 15 to August 31: book now to enjoy our meat and fish specialties!

There is also no shortage of seafood specialties, carefully selected to ensure freshness and quality, from mixed grills to refined pasta dishes, designed to bring out the authentic taste of each ingredient.

Siamo stati accolti con calore e sorriso ad un tavolo vicino al caminetto. La pizza era buona e abbiamo particolarmente apprezzato il peperoncino fatto in casa. Raccomando questo ristorante, anche per famiglie.
