Wir haben ein Haus aus dem 16. Jahrhundert in der Collina D´Oro gekauft und von Thomas Kaelin (BAUM Studio) komplett umfangreich sanieren und Umbauen lassen. Die Liegenschaft ist nun wie neu ohne dass sie an ihrem Charme verloren hat. Wir hatten schon viele Liegenschaften gekauft und saniert. So reibungslos und vertrauensvoll wie mit Thomas Kaelin hat die Zusammenarbeit mit einem Architekten noch nie funktioniert. Wir bedanken uns für die aussergewöhnliche und tolle Leistung und wir haben Thomas bereits in weiteren Projekten beauftragt. Vielen Dank Thomas ! Die Liegenschaft ist grandios geworden !

History of the business Sangiorgio Silvano e Marco SA, Architects was founded in 1972 by Silvano Sangiorgio. When his son Marco joined in 1995, the legal form of the business became a public limited company. Architect Marco Sangiorgio then became co-owner and sole CEO. Architect Marco Sangiorgio , who graduated from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology under the guidance of Prof Luigi Snozzi, has been a member of the SIA 1995 and of OTIA since 1998. In 1997, this practice was awarded the approval of the Swiss Canton of Ticino to act as a real estate trustee; approval was based on the qualifications of architect Marco Sangiorgio. I graduated in 1988 from the former STS, now known as SUPSI, receiving the Maraini and Schindler awards for the highest grades. From 1988 until '93, I worked for several architectural firms in Canton Ticino. In 1993, at the age of 28, I decided to start my own practice. Over the years, I have completed numerous projects, the vast majority for private clients, including single-family homes (new builds or renovations), duplexes, apartment buildings, as well as some public establishments such as bars and shops. I personally oversee the work from design to building delivery. I also provide real estate appraisals for banks, public entities, and private clients. Additionally, I offer project management services for third parties. The decision to open my own studio has proven successful, as it has allowed me to enjoy the freedom that independence offers – freedom of time, choices, opinions, and ideas. During these years, I have developed excellent working relationships, and later friendships, with many individuals. I'm referring to my collaborators, craftsmen, and also my clients, with whom I have remained in contact even after the completion of projects. Matteo Devittori (1972) was born in Biasca and is the owner of the " Devittori architettura sagl " architecture studio. In 1998, he was registered with the OTIA (Ordine Ticinese degli Ingegneri e Architetti – Ticino Order of Engineers and Architects) . At the end of the year 2000, he opened his own architecture studio in Biasca and started working as an independent architect. In 2009, he obtained the "DAS Diploma of Advanced Studies in Energy Management" from SUPSI in Lugano. Since 2010, he has been registered as an REG B architect (Swiss Register Foundation for Professionals in Engineering, Architecture, and Environment). In May 2012, the studio changed its legal structure and became "Devittori architettura sagl."
