La cucina è eccellente: ogni piatto è preparato con grande attenzione ai dettagli, ingredienti freschi e abbinamenti ben studiati. Si mangia davvero molto, molto bene — dai primi piatti ricchi di gusto ai secondi raffinati, tutto è all’altezza delle aspettative. Anche la presentazione è impeccabile. The fish is always fresh and is cooked mostly on the grill. It is always very busy and this guarantees a constant supply of fish. The staff is very friendly and professional. The prices are within the Swiss average.

Il ravioli: La pasta troppo bianca per essere una pasta all'uovo come converrebbe per i ravioli. Troppo liscia e insapore. Il ripieno che doveva essere ai funghi porcini, non ne aveva né il sapore né il profumo. Molto deludenti. Migliori le orecchiette alle cime di rapa, che hanno fatto alzare il mio giudizio a sufficiente.

Pizza con Bresaula e rucola 20.-o 21.-Fr.e tanto Bresaula non cenerà poi tanta .Dopo dicono che i prezzi in Ticino sono alti???

A charming place where the Cassarate River meets Lake Lugano, creating a romantic setting under the shade of three majestic centuries-old plane trees. On the banks of the Cassarate River stood the Osteria del Porto, which over the years has earned the title of "Antica" (Ancient). Its centuries-old history dates back to the nineteenth century when it was a landing point for goods from barges. An Osteria, yes, but different: in tones, colors, and signs. A menu proposal between innovation and tradition, with the lake and mountains blending and meeting in the menus of Chef Domenico Rezza. We accompany the dishes with a selection of local and Italian wines, served with care by our dining staff. And then the special occasions, the happy hours, the exclusive terrace for private events. Grotto Monte Creda is located in Villa Luganese, surrounded by greenery at the foot of the «Denti della Vecchia». We offer traditional Ticino cuisine, with homemade dishes and local products.
