The idea of designing and building an indoor tennis center originated in the early 1880s, when the sport was growing steadily, both in number of new players and interest in the mass media.

The developer saw the shortage of indoor tennis courts during the winter season and decided to build a "fixed" structure that could offer better usability (as a game and as logistics of locker rooms, etc.) than the traditional pressostatic balloons.

The excavations began in the fall of 1983, and on December 6, 1984, the 5 covered fields could be inaugurated. However, it can be said that the entire facility received its true "christening" in the winter of 1985 with a historic snowfall that successfully tested the entire construction! At Easter 1985 the restaurant, which took the same name as the Center, was also opened. A second phase of expansion saw the construction in 1987 of 4 outdoor clay courts with adjoining buvette and services. The third phase of expansion occurred more recently, in 2014, with the construction of two synthetic courts (play-it) that are covered with a pressostatic balloon during the winter season. This type of bottom is especially popular with young people in general and those who compete.

The Center is located in the industrial area of Cadempino, which, despite this destination, offers an aesthetically pleasing appearance due to the elegance of the companies and other buildings inserted as they go, as well as the presence of land used for sports and recreation. All this has made it possible to maintain a good relationship with the surrounding natural environment.
