Responsible for the municipalities: Horgen (including the district of Hirzel) and Oberrieden

General tasks of the debt enforcement office

• Enforcement of debt collection (including seizures and liquidations)

Other duties of the debt enforcement office:

• Enforcement of the Debt Collection and Bankruptcy Act (SchKG)

• Enforcement of debt collection (payment orders/seizures)

• Issuing debt collection information from the register

• Enforcement of retention and seizure orders

• Realization of movable property and real estate

• Maintaining the retention of title register

• Maintaining the commercial register for natural and legal persons based in Horgen and Oberrieden

Tasks of the municipal office

• Deliveries in civil and judicial matters

• Official findings in civil law matters/actual status

• Certification of signatures, extracts from minutes, and documents

• Voluntary public auctions and participation in auctions

• Enforcement of court orders and prohibitions, evictions from apartments, auctions, etc.

• Participation in criminal proceedings (house searches)
