As a chef and restaurateur, I have come to know various culinary compositions.
After all that I have seen and tested, my heart beats for Italian cuisine. Let me take you into the world of Parmigiano, balsamic vinegar, grilled vegetables, prosciutto di Parma, risotto, pasta, pizza al forno, fresh garden herbs and aglio as well as olio di olive and everything else that Bella Italia has to offer.

I combine these delicious ingredients with a touch of Svizzera, an impression of Swiss cuisine; our inimitable dishes such as veal liver with Röschti or a juicy pork steak baked with tomatoes and Valais racelette cheese.
We cook with Swiss meat, where possible from species-appropriate animal husbandry. We believe this is the best thing for our guests, the farmers and the environment.
I love the power of Italian wines, some of which you will find on our menu. You will also find delicious wines from St. Gallen, Thurgau, Vaud, the Lake Biel region and the rest of Switzerland.
Not far from our restaurant is a brewery. Of course, we sell the beer that is brewed almost on our doorstep. Enjoy the brewing art of the Brauerei Schützengarten with us.
