We will do everything to make you feel like at home. Since 1842 the Grotto Morchino is owned by the family Olgiati. Pierluigi Olgiati still keeps alive the tradition of genuine and popular people from Ticino and in particular of Lugano.

On the banks of the Cassarate River stood the Osteria del Porto, which over the years has earned the title of "Antica" (Ancient). Its centuries-old history dates back to the nineteenth century when it was a landing point for goods from barges. An Osteria, yes, but different: in tones, colors, and signs. A menu proposal between innovation and tradition, with the lake and mountains blending and meeting in the menus of Chef Domenico Rezza. Osteria con alloggio appena ristrutturata mantenendo tutta la tipicità ed autenticità del posto. La proprietà, lo staff e lo Chef ci hanno accolto e trattato da veri ospiti facendoci vivere un'esperienza unica! I piatti proposti dallo chef sono studiati nei minimi particolari per non parlare della vasta cantina di vini prettamente locali.Qualità molto alta con prezzi molto modesti. lo consiglio vivamente!!!!
