THE BIRTH OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO Cantina Böscioro was founded in 1992 by Vosti Enos and Gabriela with the construction of the cellar in Gerra-Piano. The name Böscioro comes from the dialect of the chimney sweep of Vogorno and means wine. At first, it was a secondary activity, but over time, with much passion and dedication, the company grew, increasing both grape and wine production. THE PRIVILEGED POSITION OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO'S VINEYARDS Cantina Böscioro, located in the Ticino region of Italian-speaking Switzerland, owns several parcels of vineyard land distributed throughout the surrounding area, including those located in the Gerra Piano area, where the cellar is located. The geographical location of the region, with its Mediterranean climate and exposure to the sun, offers optimal conditions for grape cultivation and the production of high-quality wines. In particular, the vineyards are located in hilly areas between Gordola and Gudo, where they benefit from excellent sun exposure that allows for high-quality grapes. Part of the vineyards are partially mechanized with small tools, while another part is located in the plains in Quartino, where another grape variety is cultivated. All this contributes to ensuring the excellence of the wines produced by Cantina Böscioro. On the ground floor there is a kitchen, which was renovated during the winter of 2021/2022, a bathroom with shower and WC, a small living room with two single beds and a patio outside. On the first floor there are two rooms with two single beds in each room. RESTAURANT The hotel has a breakfast room, a bar and a large restaurant with a capacity of up to 140 seats.
