Privileged location In the heart of Lavaux , Union Vinicole de Cully enjoys a privileged location at the crossroads of the Epesses and Villette appellations. The three-storey cellar building is located at "Les Colombaires-Dessous", west of Cully, between the SBB station and the Route de la Corniche. The winery Union Vinicole de Cully is a cooperative winery, i.e. an association of independent winegrower-owners who have joined forces to ensure that their harvest is vinified and marketed under the best possible conditions. Founded in 1937, the winery currently has 37 members, including 5 principal winegrowers. Our team is made up of 10 people, divided between the cellar and sales, with Martin Morgenthaler as current manager and Mr. Bernau as cellar oenologist. Espace Vinilingus Our Vinilingus rental space is available for private and business events. From November to the end of January, it is complemented by our Yurt. Capacity: 80 people seated and 100 people for cocktails - Access for people with reduced mobility. THE BIRTH OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO Cantina Böscioro was founded in 1992 by Vosti Enos and Gabriela with the construction of the cellar in Gerra-Piano. The name Böscioro comes from the dialect of the chimney sweep of Vogorno and means wine. At first, it was a secondary activity, but over time, with much passion and dedication, the company grew, increasing both grape and wine production. REQUEST A QUOTE A NEW ERA FOR CANTINA BÖSCIORO In 2004, Enos and his son Sandro, who had just completed his studies at the specialized school of Changins as a winemaker and oenologist, took the big step, dedicating themselves 100% to the winemaking business. The cellar has seen steady growth over the years, and in 2023, the baton was passed to son Sandro, still with the help of the whole family. Today, the cellar produces high-quality wines that reflect the commitment and passion of the Böscioro family for viticulture. THE PRIVILEGED POSITION OF CANTINA BÖSCIORO'S VINEYARDS Cantina Böscioro, located in the Ticino region of Italian-speaking Switzerland, owns several parcels of vineyard land distributed throughout the surrounding area, including those located in the Gerra Piano area, where the cellar is located. The geographical location of the region, with its Mediterranean climate and exposure to the sun, offers optimal conditions for grape cultivation and the production of high-quality wines. In particular, the vineyards are located in hilly areas between Gordola and Gudo, where they benefit from excellent sun exposure that allows for high-quality grapes. Part of the vineyards are partially mechanized with small tools, while another part is located in the plains in Quartino, where another grape variety is cultivated. All this contributes to ensuring the excellence of the wines produced by Cantina Böscioro. PRODUCTION OF HIGH-QUALITY WINES AND ATTENTION TO GRAPE SELECTION Cantina Böscioro is a company dedicated to the production of high-quality wines, carefully selecting the grapes grown in its own vineyards. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the cellar and carefully selected to produce different qualities of wine, including whites, rosés, and reds. Lavaux Expérience Out on the vineyard terraces, with their breathtaking views of the lake, the vines and the mountains, you will have the opportunity to find out all about the winegrower’s work through the changing seasons and to spend around 1 hour putting your newly acquired knowledge into practice. Then afterwards among our oak barrels in the cellars and in our wine vault you can taste the wines from the domaine, accompanied by local dishes typical of our region. To conclude this viticultural experience you will receive three bottles of Domaine Christophe Chappuis wine and a certificate as evidence of your work in the vineyard or the cellars, in an unique site renowned for its beauty and its winegrowing tradition and listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. Bonjour, J'ai trouvé chez Daniel Bovy et son fils Xavier tout d'abord des vignerons passionnés par leur métier et une large gamme de vins top au niveau qualité à des prix abordables, que ce soit au niveau blanc, rouge ainsi que le tartegnin rosé ! Je ne peux que vous recommander une petite dégustation sur leur terrasse ombragée avec une vue imprenable sur le lac Léman. Vous dégusterez un excellent chasselas et chasselas sur lie ainsi que quelques autres spécialités. En ce qui concerne les vins rouges pour un repas, je ne peux que vous recommander le Désir-Noir (mariage de cépages Gamaret, Garanoir, Pinot Noir) ainsi que le Dornfelder, un peu plus charpenté, (cépage originaire d'Allemagne).
