Histoire de Gare...
This elegant building facing Cully station was built at the end of the 19th century to house passengers waiting for a train. In 1903, the Chemin de Fer Fédéraux sold the building to a private individual who decided to turn it into a restaurant.

The original Terrace was covered around 1930 to become a dining room, from which you can admire the lead-sealed stained-glass windows from that era.
It was in 2000 that Jean-Luc Vermorel took over this buffet.
A restaurant renowned at the time for its famous pike quenelles, Jean-Luc Vermorel wished to bring his creative touch to offer a more evolved, lighter and more accomplished cuisine.
He bought the building in 2007 and undertook several renovations, including the restaurant, terraces and café in 2013.
The chef is in the kitchen, surrounded by a motivated team
Jean-Luc, a pastry chef by trade, offers subtle, creative and gourmet cuisine,
confectioned with rigorously selected products.
In Switzerland for 23 years, Jean-Luc is in love with the Lavaux region
and regional products.
The Chef is assisted by a team of 6 loyal and motivated collaborators.

The cooking style is built on simple, local ingredients of 1st quality.
All dishes served are presented with an exact name.
For 13 years, the restaurant has worked with suppliers who have a passion for and respect for their products. Two local fishermen are suppliers of the fruit of their catch.
This is the first time we've worked with such a team.
The Restaurant de la Gare in Cully offers typical Vaud products and French cuisine.
The chef, Jean-Luc Vermorel, offers gastronomic and original cuisine with respect for the products and impeccable cooking.
Every lunchtime you can come and discover their daily plates.
And for days of fine weather, the restaurant benefits from a magnificent shaded terrace.
In addition, the Restaurant de la Gare also offers a catering service with a vast choice of menus, from 15 people.
The restaurant can also organize buffets (Swiss, Italian or even French), from 25 people.
