In the center of the city of Lausanne, Uchitomi is located in the rue piétonne Grand-St-Jean near Place Pépinet. This establishment is a branch of the Geneva store and opened in 2004. This family-run store offers a wide selection of Japanese products, food, kitchen equipment, alcohol (beer, sake, umeshu plum liqueur) and gift items.

You'll find all the equipment you need to make sushi, as well as many other typical dishes such as : Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancakes), Tempura (fritters), yakisoba (fried noodles), sukiyaki and shabu shabu (Japanese fondue), Unagi (grilled eel), Konnyaku  and shirataki  (konjac root paste) and a wide selection of desserts and sweets based on Matcha green tea or Azuki sweet red beans.

On the upper floor, a wide range of gift items, tableware, kitchen equipment and cosmetics straight from Japan.

The store receives regular arrivals of merchandise from Japan with new items.

The catering service: sushi, sashimi, salads and hot dishes are prepared on site throughout the day to guarantee the quality and freshness of the food. The various dishes can be ordered à la carte by telephone or directly on the www.uchitomi.ch website and can be picked up on site at the agreed time.

It is also possible to eat on site in our small restaurant located a stone's throw away, ruelle Grand-St-Jean 5, from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.
