Le Dr Paiva est non seulement un homme charmant, humain et empathique, mais c'est aussi un excellent médecin-dentiste qui prend du temps avec son patient/sa patiente pour lui expliquer toutes les options possibles de traitement, ainsi que les avantages et les inconvénients de chacun d'eux. Il fait preuve d'une grande douceur dans ses gestes, attend le temps nécessaire pour que l'anesthésie soit complètement efficace et est très respectueux envers la personne qu'il soigne. Son cabinet et ses équipements sont à la pointe du modernisme... Sur le plan financier, il collabore avec une société qui offre la possibilité de paiements fractionnés.
