A charming place where the Cassarate River meets Lake Lugano, creating a romantic setting under the shade of three majestic centuries-old plane trees. Here, history merges with the life of the people of Lugano, offering a new culinary interpretation that celebrates the past with a fresh and contemporary vision, using high-quality ingredients preferably sourced from local suppliers. On the banks of the Cassarate River stood the Osteria del Porto, which over the years has earned the title of "Antica" (Ancient). Prima volta ieri sera in questo ristorante essendo amanti della carne. In due abbiamo preso le baby ribs alla bbq, una USA steak da 500gr, 300 gr di tartare di Angus e patatine fritte. tutti i piatti di carne erano guarniti con contorni e condimenti ed erano spaziali: le ribs tenerissime, la bistecca rosa ma non al sangue che si scioglieva in bocca, per non parlare della tartare, gustosissima. oltre alla carne che è assolutamente di prima qualità, vogliamo ringraziare tutto lo staff altamente competente, tutti gentilissimi e sorridenti. alla fine abbiamo preso una mousse al pistacchio ed una al ferrero rocher entrambe gustose ma non stucchevoli e poi ci hanno omaggiato di un sorbetto al limone artigianale, anch'esso davvero buonissimo. la loro birra weiss è molto corposa e non amara. Complimenti a tutti, dai proprietari, ai cuochi, allo staff di sala. Ci torneremo sicuramente per provare tutto il menu, quindi non cambiate nulla! Grazie per la piacevolissima serata! Laura

Osteria con alloggio appena ristrutturata mantenendo tutta la tipicità ed autenticità del posto. La proprietà, lo staff e lo Chef ci hanno accolto e trattato da veri ospiti facendoci vivere un'esperienza unica! I piatti proposti dallo chef sono studiati nei minimi particolari per non parlare della vasta cantina di vini prettamente locali.Qualità molto alta con prezzi molto modesti. lo consiglio vivamente!!!!

Bel ristorante sulle rive del lago, top per una pranzo o cena con un bel panorama o per un aperitivo.

Il ravioli: La pasta troppo bianca per essere una pasta all'uovo come converrebbe per i ravioli. Troppo liscia e insapore. Il ripieno che doveva essere ai funghi porcini, non ne aveva né il sapore né il profumo. Molto deludenti. Migliori le orecchiette alle cime di rapa, che hanno fatto alzare il mio giudizio a sufficiente.

The fish is always fresh and is cooked mostly on the grill. It is always very busy and this guarantees a constant supply of fish. The staff is very friendly and professional. The prices are within the Swiss average.

Un delizioso risottino per pranzo accompagnato da un ottimo calice di rosso. Personale molto cortese e preparato diretto dal Sig. Alex, gestore del ristorante , persona molto accogliente e sempre disponibile. Ci tornerò senz’altro!

Le personnel est attentionné envers les clients. Les repas proposés sont succulents. Le mobilier en accord avec le lieu et le service impeccable ! Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour toute personne de passage à Morcote !
