The eyes often reveal clues about the patient's health or illness, including other organ systems such as metabolism, neurology, or the cardiovascular system. This connection makes the field particularly fascinating for me. In addition, I appreciate not only being able to treat and accompany my patients conservatively, but also being their point of contact for surgical issues. I have been living in Basel since 2011 and feel very much at home in this cosmopolitan city. During my surgical training, I had the opportunity to get to know various clinics in Switzerland. Now I am delighted to be able to contribute this experience to such a dedicated and professional team here in Basel.
